The Monitored Fleet Management is used for fleet vessel queries and vessel push service subscriptions. The list of subscribed fleets can be managed manually via the Fleet and Geofence Management module in the Dashboard, or integrated into your proprietary system via API.
This service maintains the monitored fleet list required for batch monitoring and message push scenarios, including: batch fleet vessel queries, real-time vessel position push, vessel ETA push, vessel arrival/departure event push, vessel AIS event push, and geofence alert push. You may integrate the API into your internal system to perform CRUD operations for fleets, CRUD operations for vessels within a fleet, and binding of corresponding permissions.
Fleet management is a basic service available for trial once you register an account and activate your API key.
However, different push subscriptions associated with fleets are subject to premium service permissions. You may check your subscription permissions for each scenario in the Permission section of the Dashboard.
If you request any unauthorized monitoring items, a permission denied error will be returned and the fleet cannot be created.
A single fleet may contain up to 1,000 vessels. If you need to monitor more vessels than allowed, you can create multiple fleets.
